Why don't any Christians have their e-mail addresses out?
I know we get bad mouthed allot, but if we can't take some e-mail beating what are we going to do when we step out the door later.
I have been wanting to write to some of you and say that I'm really proud that you still don't give up answering these questions honestly and getting scutinized for it.
I am glad to know there are more people that have the same faith.
Don't you think we should have some communication between us Christians? Even though we will get allot of crap from others.

in my opinion, lack of allowing messages proves to me that your a coward. you cannot handle feedback from questions. u wish to put an answer in and then close your ears and eyes. you can say whatever you want without fearing someone arguing u and proving you wrong or bringing up points u dont know. you cannot admit you dont know.

this goes for everyone. not just christians.

I do not have my e-mail out because I don't want my mailbox full of junk mail / spam. I can't help but notice that many people answering questions on this site can be very condescending and rude, and frankly, life is too short to invite that sort of thing by opening my e-mail. It would be different if people could agree to disagree without being disrespectful about it, because I have seen posts from people who seem to need to talk a bit more about problems I may be able to help with.

Did Jesus or the disciples go around and tell the multitudes where they stayed? Think about it.......everyone doesn't need to know how to contact you. It's not cowardly, it's wise by the Word's standards. Then again, if you wish to put your email on display, that is your own choice. Don't down someone else for not doing what you are doing. If you want to email another brother or sister in Christ, just tell them in the answer that you leave on their question page. God bless you in Jesus' name.

Im curious what you mean by "crap from others..."

AS an Atheist, I find myself asking the same question... If you are so strong in your faith, why do you (not YOU personally) not allow others to contact you? Furthermore, why do so many that leave misguided/illogical/downright lies (re: evolution and other sciences) for responses guard themselves so much? Frankly, its a cowards way - scream my opinion to the world, then shut myself off so that I dont have to hear how wrong I am. And, this goes for ANYONE who doesnt have their email turned on - not just Christians, but EVERYONE... It is my opinion that most of us Atheists do alloow contact through email because we are not frightened by the idea of engaging in intelligent debate (incidentally, Ive become what I consider close friends with one Christian on this site, just through our debates!) and we certainly arent scared by the threats of hell we receive, and we arent afraid of being told we are wrong on a certain aspect and welcome corrections to incorrect facts. At least I do.

You say that you get "crap" from others. Id never write to you and tell you that what you beleive is wrong, nor would I attempt to talk you away from your faith. I might write to you (again, not personally) in an effort to show you the hypocrisy exhibited in your response or to ask you if your God would approve of your judgemental responses, but that would be about the extent of it...

HOWEVER, on a near daily basis, my inbox is flooded with what I would term as "crap" - empty, terroristic threats of an eternal damnation suffered for failing to worship a God who allegedly loves me.... From Christians.

This is why I wonder why there arent more Christians who leave the email feature turned on...

Don't know about others, but my email is open to communication from anyone. You know believers in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior will always get "bad mouthed" a lot. But remember what Jesus said about people bad mouthing believers. I will always answer questions as I am led by the Lord in and through prayer.

Whoever is unkind to others, even if they're defending their faith (what kind of defense is cruelty???), and doesn't have their email address visible, is 100% COWARD.

There's a difference between practicing apologetics and being mean to people of other religions. If people are going to defend their faith, may they do so without any insult in their answers.

I have my email on. And not all of them are what I would call warm hearted, many are. But some folks don't like the personal attack, it can be annoying, and who needs it?
