Agree or disagree that spirituality is the key?

Question

Do we need to follow a specific religion to find God? Does faith have to include the regular practice of religion?
Isn't it more important that we treasure the natural beauty around us, and the people, and all the things that happen during life, than trying to not break a few rules?
What is your opinion? Whether your strictly relgious, Atheist or simply floating somewhere imbetween- lets hear your opinion!

Yeah, I completely agree. Spirituality is a great thing. And you can tell when someone has it and when they don't. That's what some people are missing -- people who constantly threaten others with hell, or make condescending remarks in the direction of people who don't agree with them, or do anything like that. They can be extremely religious but they're missing those key spiritual aspects of inner peace and security. Spiritual people don't find it necessary to make snide remarks toward people -- or at least, they don't automatically resort to those kinds of phrases when they're in a debate with someone.

I was getting a little off-track there, so to sum it up: Yes, I agree, spirituality is the key.

spirituality is the key, but there are different forms of spirituality, and for some religion provides the key to their spirituality, while others find it in other places.

If we can see spirituality as including the religious folks not fighting against them we might actually be getting somewhere.

But, I have a problem with something you wrote.

Rules are there for a reason. Life would be a very ugly place if everyone did whatever they wanted.
