No silly, because then we'd have no-one to be smug at because we're Welsh and they are not.
Here is one of my favourite Welsh jokes (and by that I mean a joke by Welsh people, not as I'm sure a lot of posts will be, at Welsh people. If anyone mentions sheep, may you rot in Hell)
A Welshman was marooned on a desert island for four months. When a ship finally came close enough to see his signal fire, the Captain came ashore. He was impressed to see that Dai had made himself a cosy hut and had had started brewing moonshine from seaweed.
"But what are those other buildings for?" he asked Dai
"Those are my chapels" said Dai
"Both of them!" exclaimed the captain "Why do you need the other one?"
Dai's face took on a look of haughty distaste.
"That's the one I DON'T go to!"
Only Welsh people will get this. There's no point being on a pedestal if you haven't got something to look down on. This is the same reason there are two pubs in my tiny village (15 houses).
If everyone was Welsh, we'd just start fighting amongst ourselves again, until some sneaky alien came and stole the country. And cut off our Prince's head.
But at least we might win a rugby match (*wistful sigh*)

Oh,absolutely..but they would have to be proper(Welsh speaking Welsh people) not the pseudo( English-speaking so-called Welsh people)...it would be wonderful..everyone would be speaking Welsh..the language of heaven.
Everyone would say 'Helo' to each other and get along fine. Ahh..bliss.
By the way..nameless wonder..there are more vowels in Welsh than there are in English..A, E, I, O, U, W, Y.(+H).

If we all had to write in Welsh we could at least save on a few vowels.

No it wouldnt, we would all have to wear wellies for the sheep, thats not fair on the wife having to pay for them or all the men that had to wear them. That is the only british meat I will not buy because they are full of what the welshmen did to them.

Um maybe it would be a better place, but I would go clinically insane from hearing nothing but a Welsh accent everywhere.

Probably. But only in the sense that everyone would be the same.
Could fit for any race/color/religion.
