I have an older ProScan TV with clip-type connections for speaker wires in back. When I hook up my speakers to them I get very low volume. These are home stereo speakers, although small, but my suspicion is that the TV is not pushing enough power to drive them properly. Is there a device, or method of combining devices, that would act as an in-line pre-amp to boost the signal strength to the speakers? Keep in mind that it would have to accomodate speaker wire connections on both the "in" and "out" sides. If I was working with RCA connections it would be easier I suppose, but that's not the case here. Any help will be appreciated.
