Plenty of hairspray! Spray loads on about 10 min before you go to bed so that it dries first. When you get in bed sleep on your back and instead of putting your head on the pillow, move the pillow down so that its behind your neck. This way your hair wont be touching anything and therefore you will wake up and your style will still look perfect!

just don't lean on it at night.either stay awake all night or if you get really sleepy have some pep pills and listen to heavy metal/kerrang if you are in UK. if you really need to sleep put a cover over your pillow and braid your hair for the night. if a plait will mess up the style just put your hair up in a loose-ish scrunchy and put lots of hairspray on it. if you don't own hairspray rob your local shop or borrow a mates. if your hair still gets messed up go to the hairdressers tomorrow and have it styled again. it will be quite cheap and look even glossier than before!!!
hope this helps

Try putting something silky or satin on your pillow, then when you sleep your hair moves around easily and helps to reduce the chance of it getting wrecked.

Is curling it an option? If so you could put those soft sponge wires in and then take them out in the morning. They're comfy enough to sleep on.

Silk pillow case should stop it knotting or frizzing - otherwise put a stocking / tights over your hair (not your face) and sleep in that - it used to keep my braids neat n tidy!

Try to plait it before sleeping, that normally works.
