Without therapy, OCD definitely gets worse over time.

I don't take the chance on it getting worse. I take an antidepressant (Cymbalta) that helps a lot. Until I started an antidepressant, my mind continuously raced. The medicine is the only thing that has given me some peace of mind. I have never thought about going off it.

It gets worse...if you have been diagnosed seek medical treatment...medications can help. True OCD does NOT go away over time.
