Well, by now everyone who has answered has told you that you can't make changes in Adobe Reader. It's just that - a reader. And what Alicia told you won't work either. You have to buy a converter to convert PDF to Word. There are some that are free to try, but you have a short trial period then you either have to buy it or uninstall it.

Adobe Reader protects the file -- it is read only -- and you can't change it in Reader. You can select and copy the whole page, and paste it into Word. You can correct or change it in Word, save it as a Word file, and print it from there. It will no longer be an Adobe Reader file.

Adobe Reader is just that - reader-only software.

You have to get the full-blown Adobe Acrobat software in order to modify PDF files. OR - there are some free-ware utilities on the Internet to do this also.

Is it just the reader program? You can't edit files with the reader, possibly only enter notes. Even then, the notes may not print with the document

I don't think Adobe reader is for typing up a document. Its for PDA files to read.
