Yes, it would bother me if he NEVER did it. I don't need him to do it every single time....but come on....the man's supposed to be a gentleman!

Sure it would bother me. There wouldn't have been a second date if a man wasn't polite in that way on the first date. I've been married for twelve years and my husband still opens the door for me, carries my packages, etc. Chivalry speaks volumes about a man's character and upbringing.

Men should start SLAMMING doors on women , the constant drip drip drip of feminists, you want the doors opening then take the house and the kids and the car Jesse

Yes deffinately! I mean some men are not taught that and you have to show them and over time they should begin to do it on their own. but thats deffinately selfish and .. unthoughtful not to help a women.

Yeah, those things used to be "common" courtesy and are still appropriate. However some women make an issue when a guy tries to behave like a gentleman, so a lot of guys have quit doing it rather than get a snide remark from a feminist who can't handle courtesy from a man.
I like those things being done...but they aren't a huge issue...I am capable of opening my own door, pulling out my own chair, etc...but of course if he's going to forego the little courtesies, then it's okay for me to do that as well. âº
