You can go on expedia.com in like up flights and sometimes find get prices. Like I live in Virgina and I was going to go to Las Vegas to visit my fiances mom and I found a plane ticket for only about 300 dollars but I don't know about a bus that would go that distance

Amtrak offers service from Providence to New York, then New York to Toronto. One way ticket today would have cost you just over $100.

That's probably one of the less expensive and most comfortable ways to go if you are not flying. Flights are available but my guess is they would be more expensive than that.

Driving is less expensive - Greyhound and Trailways can give you costs via Montreal and via Buffalo.
If you drive take the Mass. Turnpike to its connection with I-90 west near Albany, NY - drive to the western end at Niagara Falls, cross into Canada, follow road signs to Burlington and then to Toronto - watch for detours in Canada, they can really trip you up.

I'm pretty sure you could get here on Greyhound. You might have to switch buses but I'm sure it's possible.

Edit:

I just looked at Greyhound.com and the fare for Providence to Toronto is $86.00 one way. I just picked an arbitrary date and didn't enter any coupons or student discount. I may be more or less for you. The link is below:

I would suggest renting a car. They're generally available fairly cheap, and it gives you a ton of flexibility.
