So, I've been in and out relationship and none of those ever worked out. The situation is always been like this. Whether it's:
1. Both of my parents disagree with me because they do not like my bf
2. Whether my dad disagree with me because he does not like my bf but my mom loves him, and so do I.
3. Whether my mom would disagree with me because she does not like him. Most of the time because we are different race. My mom wants me to be with someone who is in the same race with me but my dad and I do not really care about race or religion.
So, this time I have a bf who is in different race with me but my dad loves him and I love him. My mom for somewhat trying to confess me that I should not be into him too much and she also told me already that she can not accept the differences we have. I am so tired having in between all the time. What should I do? I really am tired of all the bulls*** but I dont ever want to hurt my mom.

Ultimately it's your decision. In my experience however, the parents are right on when they don't like a guy. They know you better than he does. Tell your mom that you realize that she's not into him, but tell her that you are, and that if he ends up being a mistake, then it's your mistake to make. You have to learn somehow.

My advice is don't worry bout what your parents think about your boyfriend. Your the one dating him not them. If I dated every guy my mom liked I wouldn't be married happily right now. My mom always wanted me to date the "All American White Guy" (I'm half white and half korean). I've never been able to connect with a white guy on that level, not that I didn't want to. But its your choice no one else's. Just tell your parents that its your choice and they don't know him like you do. Eventually they'll both warm up to him.

Your mom is living in the dark ages. Just be sure you know all about him, his religious or ethnic attitudes toward women ,how do other men in his family treat women?

I agree with the previous answer......You should really try to make your parents understand that you will be with your boyfriend for the rest of your life...not them....the ultimate choice is still yours, you have to understand that.......
