The Talmud refers to the wearing of the kippah as a form of respect and that is found in Brachot 60b and also in Kiddushin 31a. The Mizuzal can placed over the door of my house any day because I love being reminded that G_d is present always, and I wouldn't wear a tallit or arba kanfot since I am Christian, but you should wear in special ceremonies and when reading form the Torah. These are the roots of my faith and forever a blessing to us to know them. G_d keep you always. Yes some of us do take notice of other faiths and love everyone just the same.

Wearing a Kippah is a minhag and I don't believe it is discussed in the Talmud.
