Haha, I gotta give it to you, that's pretty good! Shows how weak minded some people are.

Most atheists I know are very skeptical about the tomb story, including on my e-lists and at YA. They need more proof than that. Besides, there is already an abundance of Christian media claiming that "the Gospel" is true.

No. Here's the thing. Atheists AS A RULE are pretty likely to be skeptical and NOT automatically believe what they're told, even if it comes from the Almighty Media.
As for dem bones, I suspect .... well, hell, I don't suspect anything. I only know the bare bones (intended, pun) of this story and I'm sure someone will let me know when the definitive analysis comes out.
It kind of reminds me of Al Capone's tomb - you know, the Geraldo thingy.

Hmm... maybe you should read the answers to your last question. You asked why atheists believed the tomb of jesus show, and you got your answers. Many of us don't. Most of the atheists I know, including myself, are very scientific-minded people, and will agree that there just isn't enough evidence to say anything for certain about the contents of that tomb. You're making a fool of yourself by posting this without reading the answers to your own last question at the very least.

What, Tomb Raider starring Angelina Jolie? Or that James Cameron thing? I only heard about it since it's, you know, James Cameron. I like his movies.
Besides, there's plenty of media claiming the Gospel is true: Christian Media. I guess they didn't hear of the Conspiracy.

How do you know what people believe about the tomb story, or any story ? Atheists are not people who think with one mind. There is no organization telling them what to think, as the churches do to the religious,
There is no disgrace in being stupid - - - just don't advertize it.

Would you believe that the post of one or two people represent an entire group of hundreds? Most atheists don't believe it. You know that, but you're taking this opportunity to jab at atheists in a sweeping generalization. It isn't making atheists look dumb. It's not casting you in the best of light, though.

Maybe if the headline read "Incontrovertible evidence that the Bible is more than a collection of Hebrew mythology" And then followed the headline up with some really good evidence. I mean really good. And are we talking rational minded Christian gospel, with nice messages and good morals, or psycho fundamentalist "the earth is 6000 years old" crap?

Actually, the media have supported Christianity numerous times. Have you seen the Ten COmmandments, etc. Just because I see it on TV does not make it real. AND, if a SCIENTIST could prove to me that the Gospel is true and real, yes, I would believe!

I'm really, honestly saying this in as much kindness as possible: You need to speak to more atheists. Not on Y!A, where many of us are on the defensive, but one on one. We are not some group-think mass intent on destroying your religion. We are not an organized body of malevolent intentions.
I consider myself to be well-informed, and I think that the "tomb-story" is a piece of poor science paired with Hollywood scandal-making. Don't generalize everyone, and please quit saying "so called Atheists." Wouldn't you be insulted if someone called you a "so called Christian?" You need to show respect to get respect.

The media does say it's true, and I still don't accept the Gospels as divine.
So, I guess the answer is pretty easy: No.
