Nah, Atheist don't really need all that stuff to divide fact from fiction or a reality without supernatural phenomenons. Heck, humans are born without religion but are eventually absorbed by society and forced to convert. So naturally, humans like animals do not believe in religions but eventually will as they become more in need for an escape from the real reality(genocide,hungar, etc.)Obviously our ape-like ancestors did not believe in anything and were more concerned about survival than where we came from.

Occasionally I post long cut and pastes from wikipedia. Often they are completely off topic. Lion of Judah asked a question a while back so I did a search using the words from his question and copied and pasted from the first site that came up.... S/He gave me best answer.
