Seriously. It has reaffirmed my Christianity far beyond that which I thought I could get to.

This site and other ones like it, where opinion and knowledge are discussed have been training me to go certain steps further in my ability to communicate what is important.
Some questions challenge my faith, and others incite my anger. But with God I am able to be tempered so that my reactions are not; 1) run from answering, , 2) allow anger to taint my answer.
This site and others like it help me to; 1) find people that I would never meet otherwise, 2) help those who ask for help, 3) answer questions that require a little reseach, not only on the internet but with some of the books and software that I get just for that purpose, 4) sharpens me to be a better Apologist, 5) MOST importantly, it constantly proves God to me-- edifying the faith that I have in him.

I have not been a member for very long however, it have had some very positive effects upon me. I believe by talking with others around the table like this, everyone will come to a better understanding of what spiritual really is. I believe it will also have a very positive effect on the general community at large.

I am an Athiest, no it hasn't changed me spiritually but, I do have some understanding of religions now, what many people believe in and don't believe in, we can all learn from each other and discuss our thoughts on the subject without getting angry at each other and that is always a good thing.

It hasn't done anything for my spiritual life. It has helped me practice compassion and kindheartedness. I try very hard not to give ill intentioned answers to other's questions or points of view. I really don't believe that's what the R&S forum is for, changing one's spirituality. I think it's where we can trade ideas (many times insults) but I've never gained anything, personally.

It has confirmed my ideas on how ignorant the mass is.
It has showed me how willing most people are to throw themselves head-firts into the deadly throes of sheer dogmatic mentality, utterly unwilling to question the world around them and quick to acknowledge what a 2000 year old book tells them.
In a nutshell, it has showed me that mankind is hoplessly bound for self-destruction.

It has shown me that I am a big sinner too. My problem is and always has been Pride. I do not have any different opinions on my religion though as I have gone beyond that. My religion is the Truth.

It has shown me how many people are rude and inconsiderate. I know I am one of the many who answer with smart a** responses....but the computer brings out the worst in people. Also, It showed me how weird some CHristian beliefs are.

Yes.
I now see that even the best Christians or Muslims are ravingly mad sinners, incapable of going completely without sin for 1 day.
I see how it blinds & binds them in delusions, setting chains around their mental thinking processes.
I am now certain why I don't choose religion.

It has pushed me further away from Christianity. I'm Agnostic and with all of the venom that I have seen some Christians spit out at people it makes me not want to go back to being a Christian.
