I did this and ended up losing a good friend when the feelings wore off. Friends are meant to be friends. Not friends with benefits. Either you want a dedicated relationship or you don't. Don't involve a friend at this time unless you could see yourself with this friend forever.

And just how do you see this as being a benefit-it sounds more like friends with escapism/avoidance. Hey, it's your choice, but just know that the fall will be even harder and hurt more later. I don't know how much your ex meant to you or how much your "friend" means to you, but sounds like you are creating a drama scenario. Again, your choice, but come on, you already know what you are going to do-or maybe have already done.

WOW 2 days later and already wanting to hit the sack with another guy huh? to each their own I've been separated for a month and a half now. I haven't even dated or kissed anyone yet. do you really need to rush this, you don't even want to take a little bit of time to heal?

It's one of the best ways to get past a breakup. Just make it clear "it's just physical (us guys are easily confused) and don't rebound. Be carefull, have fun!

To each their own . . . but dang the beds not even cold yet! If you don't care then go ahead - just be sure to use protection.

Sure, go ahead....have fun...
Just make sure it does not prevent your moving on
to another relationship and be careful of STD's & pregnancy.
