I am trying to get a state ID so I can get my new Job.. I recently found out I have warrants out but at this time have no money to pay them. Will I still be able to get a State ID or will they take me straight to jail when they pull me up in the system!!! Please HELP!!!!!!!

You can get an ID card but not a licence.

just go turn yourself in...when you're done paying your debt to society, then turn your life around. You think just a new ID will help with your job? Many employers do a background check which includes any outstanding warrants. If you show yourself to be dishonest and avoiding responsibility, not many employers will want to hire you. If you show yourself to be honest, and responsible and show that even though you made some mistakes, you owned up to them...you may just get a chance. Character counts tremendously.

They will take you straight to jail. I lived in Texas for 8 years.

I think you will have to settle up, with your Warrants. Maybe they won,t lock you away, But that depends on what the Warrants are for.

I'm not totally sure but i think they'll haul you straight to jail but good luck
