it really depends on how my weight you actually gain from your pregnancy. usually your back (depending on the exact location) is one of the best places to get a tat during or after prgnancy. the back usually doesn't get that flabby anyway. also, back fat is almost the most stubborn fat to get rid of. with liposuctuion (not that youre doing it, just to give you some more info) it is the most difficult fat to remove. i'd reccomend getting one on the shoulder blade, even though it hurts alot, that skin stays quite taught, and is a really good place to show off a tatoo if you still have some baby-belly weight to lose. congrats on the baby as well!!

During a pregnancy, please don't ever try to lose weight. The baby gets first helpings on everything you eat and drink, you get the seconds. Just don't try to eat for two, eat normal, healthy, you will do fine. The weight you gain in pregnancy is for the benefit of the baby. Water weight (uterus) and baby's weight. As for a tatoo, again, please wait until after you have your baby. Especially for your lower back. The chemicals from the ink you don't want your body to absorb and possibly effect the baby somehow. Take care.

I don't think your lower back has anything to do with you baby weight. Getting a tattoo at any time should be just fine. Having a baby least affects your lower back.

I would wait because things like that give me motivation and something to look forward to, so it will probably inspire you to stay on track with your weight loss plan :-) Plus you'll feel better about showing it off right away!

wait till your close to your normal size and weight b4 you get one. remember tattoos can change shape with weight gain and loss, especially during pregnancy. I am 26 weeks pregnant and I have a playboy bunny on my hip and one of his ears was on my lower belly, well now I have one very large bunny ear across my whole damn stomach....lol I hope it goes back or my bunny will have one deformed ear after pregnancy.

if you plan to lose weight, yeah, it's best to do that before getting a tatoo. Otherwise, the tatoo will look droopy if you lose weight after its been there.

yes. but i would advise u to not get a lower back. when u get older that area is prone to distortion and your tattoo will look awful.
