My friends daughter keeps getting out of her booster seat while she is driving by unbuckling her seat belt. I think that there is a product that she can put over the seat belt buckle to keep it from being accessed but i dont know what it is. Does anyone know? She is afraid her daughter may get hurt.

Anything prevents access to the buckle is VERY dangerous. The first link I posted is an alarm that will let your friend know if the child takes the seat belt off. Your frined needs to be firm and punish the child, so he/she knows that its serious,

The second is seatbelt laws, advise your friend that she may need to change seats to fit the childs height and weight.

Hope this helps

"My daughter does this and she's only 20 months!

I flip the buckle around backwards (so the button is on the underside instead of on top) and the plastic clip for the straps I hook from underneith as well so if she pushes on it, it doesn't pop off. "

That question is listed as my source. If she comes in and posts anything you should give her best answer, if you like it.

Good luck.

If she's old enough to be classified as a "toddler", she's old enough to "mind what her mother tells her". If she chooses not to mind, she should be reprimanded.
