Aww, I have visions of a little kitty with a mini toothbrush after all those suggestions of getting him his own! It's true, cats really will play with anything!
I say get a protective cover for your toothbrush. At least then he can't damage the important part of the brush! I had to do this with my goldlfish!! He kept drooling all over mine!! Haha!

Start putting it up in a cabinet with a closed door, i doubt the toothbrush smells so good that the cat will trace it to the cabinet and open it.

Give it something else to play with. Some variety of cats, are often so playful, that they'll play with anything they see. While you're at it, buy a new tooth brush, and give the old one to your cat. Or just use it to brush the cat's teeth.

Get her one of her own & put yours in a toothbrush case out of reach.

The citrus this works wonders or just put your brush in a case! No offence but its pretty obvious. I hope i helped and try the lemon juice thing! good luck

Simple, take your cat to the local vet and have all it's teeth removed, then it will have no need for a toothbrush.
