i know this may sound like a really stupid question, but does chick fil a deliver? if not, what other food places deliver?(other than pizza)

As with most franchises, call them and find out.
There are McDonald's that deliver near me but you have to call 24 hours in advance and spend at least $50.

No, but check in your local area. That's not a crazy question. Some neighborhoods have a service that picks up from area restaurants (and maybe even fast food places) and will deliver to you. I have one near me that delivers from Olive Garden, Applebees & Chilis. You call, pay via credit card and they place the order, pick it up and bring it to your door. Neat, huh?

I don't think so. At least, the one near my house doesn't. They do offer large party trays, but you have to pick them up yourself.
The only other food delivery I'm aware of is Chinese.
