Look, I really think you're being too hard on yourself....with all the other addictions there are out there, why should you worry about chocolate???? Chocolate is a wonderful, satisfying, immensely tasty creation. Instead of trying to "rid" yourself of it, which could lead to some pretty scary withdrawal symptoms, why don't you focus on other things that would be just as beneficial? Here's a few:

1) Always wear your seat belt.
2) Eat well; exercise....chocolate is good for you in moderation.
3) Don't drink & drive
4) Love others as yourself
5) Learn something new
6) Take up a new, or revisit an old hobby
7) Practice self-control in all other areas of your life
8) Treat yourself well....we're only on this earth for a short time...enjoy it. Chocolate is a minor indulgence that we all deserve.

Sincerely,

A Fellow Chocoholic

Dark Chocolate is BETTER for you because it contains antioxidants which are good for your face. But, no chocolate or sugar candy is GOOD for you in other words it is not going to make you healthier to eat this chocolate. There are sugar free and low calorie/low carb chocolate bars which maybe you should try.

If the situation is extremely serious such as your life being in danger or health because of extreme weight gain or diabetes please see a doctor and a therapist to help you cope with this addiction.

As funny as it is to some people chocolate addiction is a serious issue especially in people who are addicted to food and should not be taken lightly.

Do research on different chocolate that is heathIER for you and do not over do it.

Good luck!

You aren't really addicted. You just have a craving for an ingredient in chocolate. Since I don't know what you eat, I can't tell you which. I would suggest you look up what ingredients there are in chocolate, and then figure out what you are lacking in your regular diet. Also, you might crave chocolate because of an emotional value. If so, don't eat it randomly, set up times when you can indulge in it in a healthy way (like every sat. night), and if you do, only eat dark chocolate (its healthier). Good Luck!
