My fiance and I want to have are wedding ceremony and reception at a park. However we are finding it really hard to find a park that has what we want. What we want is to find a park that has large enough gazebo to hold at least 50 people. And we want the park to have a seperate area to hold a reception. We found one place that was recommended to us but their reception site is undercontruction. Can anyone who knows anywhere he and i can go find a park that has both these things please help us?

We are on a budget. We really are not looking to spend more than $500 to rent a facility because it is only 50 people attending. I don't think we should have to pay $1000 or more because it's small.

Don't know your area, but do know that lots of parks have a reception type of room and the rent for it is not that high. The gazebo idea seems to be the problem. You can rent gazebos, or arches at a rental place....some might fit the people you want because they have some you build by attaching walls together....check out all the party rental shops....then you could set up your own. I would find a nice park, and find the reception area...they may or may not be in the same place....and then find the items you can set up in it.

Be a little flexible and look at what the rental shops have....check them all out....and at any wedding items you could borrow...many churches would loan them to you...then figure out what will work. When you have to "set up" for a wedding, it can be more expensive than just using a church that has the chairs, wedding items, and reception area....so compare if you have a money problem.

My daughter had a nice Hawaiian backyard wedding ...she brought in an arch, chairs, and candles from the rental shop. It turned out very nice.
