Why will I feel so happy when I die?

Question

I feel nothing but pain right now. We:

have bodies given to decay
get older & fall apart
can't really do as we wish (no true free will) due, being poor
are told "God" loves us, even as he takes all our choices away
are told we need God, & WILL depend on him

All this mess doesn't make me happy. It seems God is too ego filled & forces us to depend on him under a guise that we have "free will" which really seems false to me.

Because many things I wish to do, I am cursed to remain poor or something. I don't understand. Is this God's way to make me see I need him? If so, I feel rather like peeing on him, than being his slave.

He never helps me when I need it down here, why do I ever care to do anything for him? I don't care how much hell power he has. I could care less if he burns me forever.

I just want God to get the hell out of my life, leave me alone to do what I want to do, or never bother me again. I detest all attempts to control or use me

You imply I had no job. Now I will add this. I dated 1 woman 4 years, before she lied & left me. I was saving to get married.

So, I thought, well, that hurts, so I tried again. This time, I was taken a fool, the woman took $10,000 I had plus my car. I lost the job I did have to her, & had to find another.

Now you complain that I complain? I think you need to see why I complain before you start complaining about me complaining. Cause I don't feel too highly of women sometimes.

Besides this, when I was 10 or so, 2 black women tried to kidnap me & rape me when I was with my parents shopping. But they had left for another section of the store while I was looking around.

It seems I am beat down no matter where I turn. I feel sure, if there is a God, he deserves to be beat down for making me be beat down for I guess, not worshiping him? I don't know why he let's this stupid stuff happen.

Guess he is just a heartless whore.

You are unhappy because you've been taught to believe a big lie. Only you can change your life. There is no divine intervention. You need to do things to make your own life better. Don't sit around waiting for God to intervene, because it won't happen. And, you won't be happy when you die. You won't feel anything once you're dead because your body and brain will not be functioning anymore, and that will be the end of your existence.

Hi. I understand that you are hurting and I am so sorry for your pain. I know what it is to doubt and worry and wonder while going through life. I have wished for death also.

God has brought me through it all and to a place where I am beginning to understand who He is. He is not an ogre, taking delight in making you miserable. He is a loving Father who grieves when you grieve because He loves you. He gave Himself so you can have abundant life.

But what is your real issue with God? Is it that you don't want to be controlled? God created us with free will so that we have a choice to serve Him or not. We are not robots who serve God because He forces us to.

Do you feel that God has let you down in some way? You said that He never helped you. Have you asked Him? Just try talking to Him. Take all your hurts, worries and concerns to Him. He listens, really.

Actually most people feel like you do,but just because you believe or feel that way doesn't mean you can't have a little fun while you are waiting to go to hell or whatever p[lace they have for unique individuals like you.If I were you I would start celebrating life instead of wasting valuable time brooding over something that is inevitable.Thank you for sharing and letting me know that their are good people out there.

It may be best for you to stop thinking about God and start enjoying your life. Rich or poor, the sun still shines, clean water tastes good, and a smile from a friend is priceless.

Ok for one thing god did not create you to be his slave. If this was true, what are you doing for him. Everything you have ever done in your life was to do for you.whether it turned out good or bad. poor or rich, happiness or pain. I have worked all my life to be who I am its not great but its me. I think I like the fact god Doesn't help me. I like doing it on my on sometimesand I think your confusing god with Society. Dont wait to die go out there and live.Make your life what you want take controll of yourself. It's not easy but life isn't. Death is to easy. It would be an fool to want to take the easy way out. "god" has nothing to do with your troubles. You obviously lack the incentive to get up off your duff and help yourself. No god is going to come along and plop money in your lap. Get out and get a good job and work and invest your money wisely and get to a doctor and get what you have wrong with your body fixed. You only get one trip here, buddy, and you are wasting yours. Maybe you would be better off dead- one less whiner on Earth.

I live a lot of my life in pain- that doesn't mean I want to end it. You learn and grow from overcoming the hardships in life.

If you ask me, you wont feel anything at all. I don't believe in any afterlife, so as far as I'm concerned when you, me, or anyone else dies we'll no longer be capable of being happy, or sad, or anything else. We wont be at all, anymore.
