1. Eat several small meals a day. Try 6-7. You can have soup, salad, broiled meat/tofu, chili, etc. Just watch your calories. Count how many you would have in a day, and just make sure you eat less than that. Any calorie count, as long as it is a deficit from your normal one, is fine. (ex: you normally eat 2000 calories a day, and you switch to eating 1500 a day).

2. Find some way to get more exercise everyday. You could go for a walk in the morning (at least half an hour), or after work. You could also start going to the gym everyday after work. If you do, remember to use the weights before any other work, because you end up burning 300 percent more calories then.

3. Succumb to your cravings. I know this sounds really weird, but you need to. If you are craving carbs, have a whole wheat sandwich. If you want chocolate, buy dark chocolate and eat have a bar. Don't overload, but its better to eat a little of what you crave, rather than alot of what you don't want.

4. Get out of the house. Try not to stay at home, because then most people end up watching tv, and eating alot of food, or remaining sedentary for prolonged periods of time.

5. Stay away from transfats. They never leave your body!

6. Avoid sodium as much as possible. Sodium (salt) makes you bloat.

Good Luck! With this method, the first week/2 weeks I loose five pounds a week, and then 3 pounds a week everyweek after that.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

Diet and exercise. But don't go overboard with it! It is possible to lose a lot of weight just by exercising and eating good foods, if you do everything right.

Please be safe and smart about it.

I have found that the eliminating sugars and processed carbs really does the trick for me.

For the first couple of weeks eat only proteins and avoid processed carbs like regular pasta, bread and cereals. Then gradually introduce them back in the whole grain form.

Please also exercise and start an easy weight (lifting) program to build muscle.
