My dog he goes to sleep at 9 every night and he wakes me up crying in the middle of the night, what can i do?

He is just 2 months old and when i get him to sleeo at 9, i then put him in his cage , but he only sleeps a few hours and them wakes me up. If i don;t get him out of his cage he cries. And i can't get out of my bed every night and go sleep on the sofa.
