it's not clear what class you are studying in currently. Still, first of all you need to be "inclined" towards both of them. What I mean is that some students are good only at studies and some like only extra-curricular activities only. For you, friend, I assume that you are already spending 6-8 per day in school/ college. Towards evening, the first habit to sacrifice is watching TELEVISION. If you can do that, you can do what 99.9% of humans cannot do.
After joining this elite club of 0.1% humans, you have ample time to nurture your extra-curricular activities (which of course shall be more productive in your life rather than TV).
Another tough step you might wanna take is to get up 30 minutes early and have an appointment with mother nature. Go out and breath fresh air.
Coming to those examination days, you shall be less worried as you would have utilised your waiting time at bus-stop, loo-time etc in catching a couple of pages of your studies and you would be better prepared to take that exam challenge.

You have to plan your future first, what you want to be and how to achieve the same. If you plan to be a professional player then you have to concentrate more on your extra curricular activities otherwise your studies.

keep them SEPERATE. don't mix the two, and plan out when to do each. Don't take on more than you can handle.
you might actually want to consider which is more important to you. do you care about your grades a lot? or would you rather play sports, play music, or be in a play?
