Jimmie Johnson is my wife's and my favorite driver. Most of the people that hate him do so because of his association with Jeff Gordon and not so much for what Jimmie has or hasn't done on the race track. Jimmie is a fairly clean driver and doesn't have a big head about all the success he has had. I like his consistency and ability to come back by the end of the race when he isn't doing good earlier. Of course a big part of Jimmie's success is Chad Knaus. Now some people will call him a cheater but Chad just stretches the envelope and tries to exploit anything that's not black and white in the rule book (which is a lot of it). For old school drivers we like Mark Martin. New guys: Carl Edwards and Clint Bowyer. My wife's dad is a cousin of Matt Kenseth and we live in Wisconsin so we like him as well.
