It depends on where you live and your own dental practice, I live in the North West and white fillings can vary from between£40- over £100. This is beacuse white fillings in back teeth are not carried out on the NHS due to the cost of the white filling materials, so white fillings in back teeth have to be carried out on a private basis. On the NHS a filling would put you in band 2 at £42.40.
When you go to your dentist discuss all options with them and ask for a quote of how much the treatment will cost. Sometimes you cannot put white fillings in some teeth, so don't be dissapointed if the dentist says it is not the best option for the tooth.
Good luck

White fillings on back teeth are unavailable on the NHS, as the government class this as vanity.
My surgery charge from £50-upwards for white fillings, most people opt for the silver fillings on top back teeth as you dont really see the back tooth, how ever lower teeth are more visible as it's your lower jaw that moves forwards when you talk.
If it's only a small piece of filling broken it may well work out cheaper, but if when the dentist checks the tooth and discovers it's in actual fact a large piece a white filling may not be the best option.
Make an appointment with your dentist and he/she will be able to go over all the options available to you.
