I am seeing a new guy (1 month) and he keeps dropping the "L- Word" on a fairly regular basis. It is mostly in a casual way or uses it in phrases like "I am lovin' you baby" things like that. I am wondering if it is something he is actually feeling or just saying...

I haven't dropped the "L" bomb yet at all not even playfully but that doesn't meant those feelings won't come.

We have not had sex yet or really even gotten close to doing the deed. He told me last night that I am "worth waiting for"...

What do you think?

Sounds like this guy is a keeper. Any man willing to wait for you, is! When the time comes, you will know when to drop the L word his way. It sounds like it's already reciprocated. Have fun, be yourself and don't put too much emphasis on what he's thinking or why he's doing or saying this or that. Relax, enjoy your new relationship.

Well first of all, I believe in "love at first sight". Don't know if I've ever been there done that, but I think it can and does happen. Secondly, as some others said as well, there are different levels or kinds of love. Love you have for family, a best friend (boy or girl), and love for your partner. I have been in relationships where I love them early on and tell them so. But I base that on what I know of them up to that point. Essentially, saying that I am commited to what we share and continually getting to know them better, and that I am loyal to them alone. If this guy is telling you he loves you, yet is perfectly fine with waiting for any sex, then I'd guess that is what he's saying. Good luck to you both.

It all depends on the connection that you feel with this person. Some people feel a connection instantly, others don't. There is not actual time frame for how long you have to wait in order to tell someone that you love them.

There is no timing when it comes to love...If it happens it happens, but make sure he really isnt sweet talking you just to get you into bed. I will give it to the guys out there...they are really tricky. Be careful, and God Bless!
