St. Christopher Piesporter Michelsberg Reisling (Auslace)

(Spatlese for sweeter, and Kabinet for light sweetness)

Auslace, or varied other spellings are middle of the road sweet

German wines are the best bet. That is, if you want one that actually tastes good!

You can go buy California, or French wines, but I generally reccomend to stick with something more universal! If you live anywhere that there is a Meijer grocery store, I reccomend you go in & look for St. Julian Blue Heron. It is a Michigan wine & one I like very much! You could order straight from the St. Julian web site! If you do, I'd actually reccomend to not skip out in trying their Frankenmuth May Wine! It's phenominal! Or, try the Gewurztraminer or Harvest Delight from Round Barn Winery. May be try the Ice Wines from Lemon Creek Winery! I reccomend the Snow Moon! You can order from Michigan Wineries on line! The Prices for St. Julian are incredible! I'm a huge fan of Michigan wines! I don't know what's in the soil, but the wines are incredible!

Read Lisalikes post. Good info there. My favorite German label is Dr. Loosen. Very nice wines. $25-$50 a bottle. JJ Prum is good too.

I have found the late harvest rieslings to be some of my favorites, especially ones from Hogue.
Several moscatos and white zinfandels are nice too.
Arbor Mist Sangria Zinfandel is a recent favorite.
