There's no shame in working at Domino's or any other place. I worked at
McDonald's for 2 years and had a ball. I met a lot of people and different ones
brought their kids in for lunch just to see me. I've worked for a Chiropractor,
baby sitting {40 years ago}, worked in several restaurants including my uncles.
If you like people, give it a try. If what you took in college would get you a job in
the field that you learned, all the better. Good luck.

If people really judge you for where you work they're not worth your time! Don't feel embaressed...some times you have to give a little to get ahead, but I bet it will pay off in the future. It's not like this will be your career forever. Just go for it and when you talk to people tell them about all the positive aspects of the job...when you seem excited about it..it will give them a more positive outlook on the job too! Good Luck!

I wouldnt @ least u have a job! Unless of course, considering the fact that u've been 2 college u might wanna set ur job standards a teeny bit higher. wether u graduated or not,u still must have more choices out there, but if not there's nothing 2 be embarrassed about!

Youshould never feel embarrassed. You should be proud, you would have a job, you would be paying your way and not relying on others. OK it is not brain surgery, but it will give you experience in working with people, customer service, handling food, team working, so when you find another job you feel you would like to apply for, you will then be able to list all of this experience you have gained. Go for it, and hold your head high!

Everybody's got to earn a crust!
The pepperoni thing that worries me is hawaiian otherwise intelligent person would have the sauce to be embarrassed about their job description, and not their grammar and spelling. Let's face it, all other answers are going to sound cheesey in comparison to this one, I really can't see anyone topping it. So please feel free to deliver the best answer accolade to me within, oh I don't know, half an hour?

It may not be a great job, but at least it is a job and if you want to have a few luxuries or stand on your own two feet it is a starting point to build on. If anyone laughs at you for working there you don't have to listen, at least you have your dignity in knowing that you are contributing to your future, boll***s to what anyone else thinks.

I think I would be more ashamed of myself to be unemployed as a college student without dependents.

Who is paying your way?
At 20 I was out on my own paying my own way and seeing the world.

This I accomplished by scrubbing floors, changing other people's children's dirty diapers and basically working my butt off.
Stop looking for glamour in your job ms. hilton and get down to business.
NO free ride in this lifetime.
I would be more embarrassed by the fact that I was broke , single and unemployed esp in America where jobs are plenty.

It doesn't really matter where you work as long as you get some sort of financial income, this will be a boost to your social life as you will now be able to go out more with your mates! If they ARE your friends and proper friends they will not worry about what you do for a living! Thats what friends are!!!

Go for it and good luck!
