Make sure to do careful reading on how to take care of a dachshund’s back before you bring them home. No using stairs or jumping off of furniture (I have little ramps to all of the furniture my dog uses, and even a long one on my whole staircase), hold them horizontally, not vertically, and be careful of their weight, because too much weight will strain their backs. So many wonderful doxies become paralyzed because people are unaware of their back problems.

I also have a little teckel (dachshund).
What about Kyra or Zoe for the female (Greek names)
Maybe Barnabas, Darcy, Sam, Max for the boy...Do a google search, will give you thousands of names. Good luck :)

well my male Dachshund is named Buddy, but we call him Budders, wobbers, ect. wait till you get the puppys and see about there personality adn maybe name them after what they love, like my dog loves his stuffed animal and we call him Mr. Higgins! or i will call him my Wild Dachshund! hahahaha so many names its so fun to name them take your time and have fun with the Dachsie, you will LOVE em
