With chicken legs.............try

1. Potato Salad with Chipolte peppers

1/2 red pepper, diced
3 scallions, finely sliced
celery, sliced
1 tablespoon fresh cilantro or parsley, chopped
1 cup mayonnaise
2-4 chipotle chiles in adobo, deseeded and diced finely (or more, use the seeds if you like the heat)
1 tablespoon sugar
8 slices bacon, cooked very crisp and crumbled reserve 1 tablespoon for garnish
1 (15 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained
6 hard-boiled eggs, diced
8 medium red potatoes, cooked, cooled and diced
salt & pepper

Mix first 7 ingredients together.
Toss in remaining ingredients except 1 tablespoon bacon and salt and pepper.
Mix well.
Taste to see if you need to add salt and pepper.
I myself like lots of pepper.
Top with bacon bits.
Chill& Serve.


2. Chili Fries

6 medium potatoes, sliced
1/3 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons chili powder

Sliced the potaoes into Large Fries.
Add the oil and chilipowder to the bag and close.
Squeeze the bag, until the oil and Chili powder are mixed.
Then add the potaoes and seal the bag.
Shake the potaotes in the bag and remove.
Lay them on a lightly greased or sprayed cookie sheet and bake at 350 for approximately 1 hour or until fork tender

3. Or Take your Chicken and Make Fried Rice

1 tablespoon butter or margarine
2 eggs, beaten
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1/4 cup chopped onions
1/4 cup chopped green peppers (optional)
2 cups rice, prepared and cooled
1/2 cup cooked pork (optional) or shrimp (optional) or chickens (optional)
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup cooked peas (optional)

Melt 1 tablespoon butter in skillet or wok.
Scramble eggs in butter, breaking up the cooked eggs into small pieces.
Set aside.
Melt 1 tablespoon butter in skillet or wok.
Saute onions and/or green peppers in butter for 3 minutes.
Combine eggs, onions, rice, and meat.
Stir in soy sauce until color of rice is uniform.
Stir in peas.
Heat only until warm.

Chicken Legs Grilled:

Generously seasoned crisp legs.

50 min 10 min prep
2-4 servings

4 chicken legs-thighs
marinade
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon seasoning salt
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon olive oil

1. Mix all marinade ingredients in a ziplock bag add chicken.
2. Chill for 4 hours.
3. Grill chicken until well browned on both sides, turning once, 30 to 40 minutes (meat near thigh bones should no longer be pink when tested with the tip of a knife).
4. FYI.
5. All grills are different temperatures so.
6. Take advantage of indirect heat --
7. If the chicken browns to quickly finish over indirect heat.
8. All grills have hot spots so watch and be sure to move the chicken to make the cooking of the chicken complete and satisfying to your needs. As the time of the year make grilling quicker or slower. So take care and watch and enjoy you food as it grills.

Hawaiian Drumsticks

This chicken drumsticks recipe is flavored with a sweetened soy and ginger sauce.
INGREDIENTS:
12 chicken drumsticks
1 cup ketchup
1 cup packed dark brown sugar
1/2 cup soy sauce
grated fresh ginger, 1 tablespoon
a splash of sesame seed oil
PREPARATION:
Cover and crock on low for about 8 hours. Serve on top of white rice.

put them in the oven with bbq sauce and bake for an hour.

make white rice and when it's done add butter and salt.

put some broccli in the micro for 4 min and a half cup of water .

there u go a complete dinner.

Depends on how you cook them.
If your frying them, them I would serve with corn on the cob & french fries w/ bbq sauce on the side.
Baked - serve with flavored rice (like ricearoni or lipton chicken & broccoli), & green beans.
Roasted - served with mashed potatoes & gravy & mixed veg.

Coat them in a shake n' bake mixture and cook in the oven. Serve w/ a side of mashed potatoes, broccoli and salad.

Dinner will be excellent.

Rice or Mashed potatoes and green beans, corn or salad. Also bisuick biscuits are mighty tasty!!

Brown them, then cook on low heat, covered, with a can of cream of muchroom soup. Add a little thyme.
Noodles or rice and you're good to go.

I love it when my mom soaks them in bar b q sauce all day then grills them. there the best.
