Honestly .. just eating fruits and veggies is not a very good way to loose weight. your body needs other things ... such as protein and carbs. altho you might have been told that these are bad for you, you body needs them to burn energy. i have lost 25 pounds in 3 months by just staying away from high fat foods and sugary candys and drinks. it helps to cut down on the size of meals you eat. you can look up on the enternet the size that one serving really is.

It's not a good idea to eat only fruit&veggies. Your body still needs protein and fat in order to function properly. Also fruit&veggies are low carb which is your energy. Try whole grain bread and crackers which will boost your carbs w/o boosting blood sugar as much. Also, it will help you feel full because of the fiber.
You don't say how long you're exercising each time or a total time. Anymore than an hour/day total is more for professional athletes.
A general rule is you can safely lose 2-3 lbs/wk, so roughly 14 weeks for 40 lbs.
Good luck!!

I suggest that you try body cleansing. I tried it and really got lean quickly. I lost 15 pounds in 9 days and also 3 inches off my waist. I do body sculpting so getting leaner was my goal. My sister did this program too and she lost a lot of weight quickly. I did not know too much about cleansing but there are a lot of TV commercials about this stuff. This is a body cleanse and not just a colon cleanse, I wanted my body to get lean quickly and this did the trick! Many variables play into whether a person can lose weight or not or how long it will take.

For instance, gender, age, activity level, metabolism, BMI etc. I don't think eliminating protein and carbs from your diet is smart due to working out twice per day.
