You MUST speak with your friend about your feelings and find out how she feels about the situation. She is your friend after all and if she says no, then I don't suggest you go out with him. It is never cool to be with a friends ex, current, or even someone they like. They are what women refer to as "off limits". If she says yes, you are looking at awkwardness between the 3 of you. If this guy, wasn't good enough for your best friend, what makes you think he's the one for you? Good luck and remember, men come and go but friends are forever!

I encountered a similar situation a few years back. I spoke to my bestfriend and told her the situation...at first she was not ok with us trying to start something, so out of respect for her and our friendship, I stopped talking to him. A week later she told me she was being selfish and if we both liked each other to go for it. So I did. Dated for only a month and it didn't work out, so I was glad I spoke to her about it bc it wouldn't have been worth our friendship. Who knows, maybe your relationship with this guy can lead to something big. Good luck!

You need to control your feelings because there are a lot of available men out there. Do you rather risk loosing your best friend over a man. Its not worth it no matter how he makes you feel.

In all honesty, don't do it!! You will do nothing but hurt your BEST friend. Unless you know that this guy is they guy for you forever and ever and you are really willing to risk your FRIENDSHIP, I wouldn't do it. Or, if you have enough courage, ask your friend what she would think if you did that!

i think u should talk to ur best frend and tell her that u like him because ur best frend doesnt own that guy, and u could have a chance with him. First talk to ur best frend than talk to the boy.
GOOD LUCK <333

Don't ever let a man come between you and your best friend, its not worth it.
If he decided to bail on you, you have lost him and your friend... Find another guy to date

depending on what kind of friend you are its up to you. but if u were my friend and did something like that i'd end that friendship. to me its against the rules regardless how long they were involved.

Do you like him enough to risk your relationship with your friend?

Even if she says "go for it", she probably won't be very happy with you if you do.
