Really there is no set age your child will tell you when it's ready to potty train. Girls are faster leaners and will normally potty train around 1 and half to 2 years boys are normally about 3 before they start to potty train.

It depends on the child. Girls are usually ready earlier. They have to be old enough to understand the concept and be able to ask for the potty. Probably around age 2
My mum always said summertime was the best, no matter what age as the kid could just run around with pants on and it meant not having to change clothes all the time. (now of course you get fancy nappies)

It's how YOU approach potty training that brings fast results. I potty trained my child in less than a week with this method http://pottytraining.toptips.org

There really is no set age. I have four kids and all of them were potty trained at different ages.
This is what I looked for when I thought that it was time to try to potty train and mind you, ALL kids are different....
I looked to see if they were dry at night. If their diapers were dry it means they can hold it. If they told me that they soiled their diapers and did not like to keep it on once it was soiled. If they went to a different area of the house when they pooped in their diaper. If they sit on their potty seat fully clothed and pretend to go tinkle. Or if they put one of their dolls or sutffed animals on the potty. They know what it is used for.
Some kids learn really fast and others do not. My youngest daughter was not potty trained until she turned four!!!! But because she was older she was literally potty trained in one day. My second child was potty trained at 2 years of age but he had an accident now and then.
I wish you much luck!! ;)

It depends on the child and if they are ready. My daughter will be 18 months Monday and she has been using the potty for almost 3 weeks, she tells us when she has to pee and poop. All kids are different, my friend has a 19 month old boy and he cant talk yet, so he cant say when he has to go. If the child can tell you when they pee or poop then they are prob. ready.

There is no right or wrong age to start, you just have to start when your child feels they are ready, but there are things that you can do to encourage your child. My daughter is 2 and she has just started, she was telling me when she had done something in her nappy or if she wanted to so, i got her a potty and a small toilet seat and let her choose her own pants. It has really helped her to understand the process and make it more fun

there is no real set age, they start when they are ready. trying too soon could frighten them and put them back. generally when they start taking their nappies off is a good time to start. they are letting you know they are uncomfortable. i found that in the beginning my kids didn't like to sit on the potty, so i gave them a few sweets in a bag to distract them. make an extra big fuss when they do do something in the potty and they will do it more often. you know how much little ones love praise. good luck

There is no real age to start potty training you normally wait till your child is ready. Health Visitors recommend you wait till they are 2 but I have known children been toilet trained by then. All children are different.
