Jean Alesi was just pipped to his own team in F 1 by Pro Drive ! But assuming he does gets his team in 2008 and considering being the chracter he was and without any budget constraints as well as engine, chasis and other material and if he could pick and chose his drivers, who would he hire amongst today's F 1 drivers ?

Hi,
From recent comments I think he would go for Massa. Alesi has just tipped him as the surprise of this coming season and he is a fighter like Alesi.
For the second driver I think he might go for maybe Liuzzi as he will need someone cheaper alongside Massa but who is still an attacking driver. Even though he sandpits it a lot he has lots of talent.
Obviously he would have last years Mclaren chassis with a few modifications and a nice mercedes engine if his Direxev outfit had got in. :)
Though personally I think he should drive and bring back Berger to partner him.

well i dont think he would have the budget of Ferrari, mclaren, renault etc. So, I think he would go after some test drivers like vettel, or possibly even go after sebastian bourdais. (the franch connection) But who knows. Cool thought. Alesi was one of my favorite drivers. Not the most talented, but for sure a passionate driver, aggresive as hell, and out-spoken. He probably would make a decent owner.

'Sir the best driver without a ride is De la Rosa from Spain. This kid has proven that he can compete at the level of Alonso and Kimi. I think he can become a better driver than both of them.

with the budget prodrive is going to have? karthakian , maybe klien if hes desprate enough to race again, but don't expect them to have any championship potential,
