"a class in boxing or boxers who weigh between 112 and 118 pounds"

there's also a bantam weight class in wrestling but i don't know the weight limits

Bantamweight is a catagory in the boxing championship. It IS GENERALLY 46 TO 50 Kgs.

I know what you mean. Bantaweight is a weight class in between 115-121 pounds in boxing. Bantam means "small."
