Most of the states let TP (taxpayer) check the status of the return... Since I didn't know where you filed, here's the list of 50 state tax agencies. Click on state and follow the instruction...

Go to your state's tax website and see if they have a refund status.

Go to www.irs.gov, individual, type in States in the search box, click on the link to your State. The majority of States now have some on-line information.
