A British Army Challenger 2 Tank no, although in theory it may fit, it is way too heavy to be carried in or underslung below a Chinook.

Simple answer is no you can't (assuming you mean the big boys toys - Challenger 2, M1 Abrahms etc), just far to big in every sense.

They CAN be lifted via a hoist underslung on a Chinook, but at 60 to 80 tonnes a pop, thats a heavy load, even for a Chinook (not 100 tonnes+, as mentioned above). Tanks are normally moved over large distances by Hercules and Galaxy transport aircraft.

No, a tank is much too large to get inside a chinook. There are a couple of sizes of chinooks that I know of, and I can tell you that a tank won't fit inside either one. I don't even know if a chinook can even lift a tank.

No you can not, as the tank is wider than most of the worlds Transport planes.

And also you can not undersling a Tank as it is way above maximum take off weight with 100 tonnes under slung.

It can however carry an APC as they are only half the weight of a tank.

According to Boeing, th eChinook (D model) has a maximum payload of about 12 tones, with a maximum operating weight of about 27 tones. This would put most armoured vehicles outside of the hauling ability of the helicoptor. The M! Abrams alone, depending on variant, can weight from 60 - 70 tons.

No. They do make one that will lift a tank but not very efficiently.
