Would you say anything to the people involved? It was my neice that seen her dad kissing another woman other than her mum, my sister. As I never actually witnessed it I haven't said anything. Should I?

If YOU didn't see it, then don't say anything. You could have been given the wrong facts. You don't want to cause uneccessary pain.

I would make sure it was true before I made an accusation like that. Because accusations liek that can ruin marraiges in a heart beat. SO amke sure you have enough prove before you say anything. Also have the neice tell where she saw them and go watch maybe you will se them again. And remember take a camera when you go that way your sister can't say your lieing or say what are you trying to be mean to her. SO get prove then say because your neice might have wanted something and your sister's husband told her no and is trying to get even anyway she can.

If the niece trusts you don't say anything, but maybe it wouldn't hurt to try and get the dad to confess it....i dont mean by bashing his head against the table until he admits it but just hint around by asking how things are with him and his wife and maybe asking if anything is new in his life? Don't just tell the mum because lots of people could get hurt through this and if she does find out its better if she hears it from the dad.

hope i helped a bit and good luck with whatever you decide to do =]

No. You would be opening a can of worms and everyone would think that you were trying to split up the family. However, you should tell your niece that maybe she should not say anything now, but keep it in mind if it were to ever happened again. By the way, you never said if it was your brother's or sister's daughter.

That is an icky situation to be in. Maybe you should try and get more information from your niece? Could she have misunderstood the situation, depending on her age? Maybe speaking to him may be the next route although, he may well deny it. Maybe you should just leave this alone, it is your sister, I understand, but if she is meant to find out, she will. This could have been an innocent scenario that turned into nothing. At the end of that day, depending on your relationship with your sister, she may not appreciate your input, possibly mistaking it for jealousy.

i think you should ask him but dont say you heard it from your neice. Ask him if he wants to be with your sister, if not tell him to be straight with her and end it or you will tell her. Whatever he tells you make sure you keep your neice infomed so she wont find things so hard to take when her mum finds out, she will be able to prepare herself but i dont think her mum should know that she ever new anything about it. Hope things work out x

I wouldn't say anything just yet to your sister. Sit down with your brother-in-law and your neice and figure out what happened. If it is something serious you need to tell HIM to tell your sister. If he refuses to let her know, that's where you need to step in and say something. Not just you, but your neice as well. Hope this helps.

Contact HIM. Speak with him. The niece may have seen a kiss on the cheek or even a friendly hug.

If it was a "kiss", maybe it was the first time and in turn, the last time he did something like this. I wouldn't necessarily trust every a young girl saw...

This is a hard one, Do you want to be responsible for the possible break up of your sister? If it was me I would want to know. What about speaking to the guy first and check out the facts

No, you should mind your business. You don't know all the particulars and it could be innocent. You might confront the husband, ask him if there is anything going on that your sister should know about. Don't hurt your sister until you know the facts.
