Depends.
I mean, a guy who has sex with a 17 year old when he himself is 19 can be labeled as a child predator.
Now, if we're talking about someone I personally KNOW is a child predator- I don't want to cut his stuff off. No.
I hate to suggest Hitler ever did anything right......well, lets put it this way. Bright idea, wrong group of people. Instead of doing it based on race, his idea could've been applied to rapists and child predators.
He inserted a glass tube into the man's organ. Then......he shattered it. (Or rather his minions did it, I doubt he himself handled dongs of what he considered to be a soiled and dirty people.) The man could never have a child. Anytime he started to get....excited....he would be in such intense pain from the internal cuts that he would lose any ability to act on it. He was probably in terrible pain when urinating.
I think that would be a good preventative measure.

I think the humane thing to do is take away the desire. Anyone convicted of child molestation should be automatically castrated.
Who needs those little balls anyway. Then give him female hormones, they don't care that much about sex. Problem solved and he could with therapy go back into society.
Course then he would probably commit suicide.

Accused or convicted? You can accuse anyone, so it would depend.
Personally, I think our country is being whipped into a hysteria about child predators by the Media.
It is true these are heinous people but we must be certain they are actually guilty first.

Lock him up in a room of the family of the child that was victimized and let them do whatever they want with him/her.

I'd put them in jail for life so that they could never hurt another child again. They can never be rehabilitated, so I don't know why they release them from jail.

Look at the Biblical requirements back in Leviticus. That person would have been stoned to death, no questions asked.
