I don't have insurance, so I was wondering if there is anything available to treat bacterial vaginitis over the counter? Or maybe someone knows a home remedy.

Sorry, antibiotic have to come from a MD or RN practitioner. That's what "vaginitis" is.You would also need a culture to find out what sort the "bacteria" is to be treated effectively etc.Look in your area phone book or use the Internet to find a low cost medical clinic, usually staffed with registered nurse practitioners, supervised by a MD for help near your home, local county health departments have services that may help also. Take care. SW RNP

unfortunately bacterial vaginitis is caused by overgrowth of the normal bacteria in the vagina. Dont add yogurt becuase yogurt contains more bacteria, so that wont work. try changing your body ph by drinking pickle juice or vinegar. something acidic. but usually this requires antibiotics.

Follow online pharmacies that employ qualified and registered doctors, who after an online 'consultation' provide a script that is then honored by that pharmacy. These pharmacies are accredited by the VIPPS or Vet-VIPPS programs .

Yes, there is. Call the pharmacy and they will tell you the names of the products you can buy over the counter.
