Depends on your weight and why your drinking. If your drinking for your health (beer or Red wine) then 1 or 2 standard drinks for women and 2 or 3 standard drinks for a man (on average), if you wanna know how many you can have before you're no longer legal to drive its generally one standard drink per hour. Your liver only processes 10mg of alcohol each hour any more than that and legally your considered to be drunk.

When the drinking starts impacting your life negatively and you start missing or are chronically late for work, you can't pay your bills, you drive while intoxicated and endanger others or get into accidents. But if you're at home and you wanna get sloshed on a Friday night and you don't have to go to work the next day, then by all means, go ahead. No one else can be your moral compass, so you'll just have to figure out on your own what works for you. As long as you're not hurting anyone else (i.e., family memebers or friends), drink up!
You can't quit drinking when you're dead.

It's a judgment call, most people would say 14 to 20 drinks a week is moderate, 20 to 26 heavy, more than 26 drinks per week would be problem. Hope this helps you.

A small enough amount so you dont feel crappy the next morning and can still perform all of your functions as a parent/friend/husband or whatever...

If you drink every day you wont get a buzz anymore so maybe you should refrain anyway, if not for health then just so it stays "special".

in my honest most humble opinion, if you must drink every day... your drinking too many.

(Oh but its only one a day, and its good for you!) Ok wise guy, do you just have one? Ok then how many, ok 3. Do you drink the 3 drinks in a row? Yes? so then, you like to get a buz on, if you dont get your buzz on, do you get upset and agrivated about it? Yes? your drinking to much.)

This is a subjective question it depends on the person and what they drink A glass of red wine every day is good for you heart but I would say more than a bottle would kill your liver.

I would say more than one a day is too many if you are drinking every day.
But then again I do not think anyone should be drinking every day. I think it should be reserved for special occasions or gettogethers with friends.

My doctor told me that one or two glasses of red wine per day is good for an adult male, but any more than that and the negative effects outweigh the positive.
