Yeah bought a old minolta XG 1 35mm camera.Body is in excellent shape but needs a good cleaing on the outside.What is a recommended cleaner to use.i don't want to ruin the metal finish or the leatherette material covering the body.

The bodies on the old cameras aren't very dainty. A moistened washcloth can do wonders. I'd also grab a number of q-tips to clean around the rewind lever etc.. I've also used Windex with no detrimental effects.
If the camera leather does go south on you, there is always www.cameraleather.com the alligator leather looks cool!

A dampened (with clean water) microfiber cloth.
