tylenol if it continues to climb put her in the bathtub or put ice packs under her arms.
My son got sick a few weeks ago and his temp climbed to above 103.9 (that was the last time i checked it) and he had a siezure brought on by his high temp. They say its there body shutting out the fever. anyway he's fine now but that was the first time he had one and it turned out he got strep throat so now i'm always paranoid cuz i dont want him to get one again.
Just make sure u keep clear liquids, tylenol and maybe once shes keeping that down u could try like chicken and stars soup or a couple crackers. My son prefered Sprite to pedalite i couldn't get him to drink the clear pedalite and the red was extremely messy coming back up. and he kept it down i just watered it down a little so its not completely bad. I am just now going through this with my toddler. My toddler is just 16 months old. Although my toddler didn't have a temp. What I was told by a pediactric nurse, is to feed him or her ice chips (no water!) until (s)he goes for 2 hours without dry heaving or vomitting. After that, I am to give him a 1/2 ounce of water, or half and half Kool-aid, or something every 5 minutes he will take it.(until he goes 4 hrs without vomitting or dry heaving). Then she said to give him an ounce every few minutes (I think). The nurse also told me that we need to count only the hours he is awake for the count to begin. Our toddler wanted about 4 oz water last night, and that was too much too soon, to say the least! Then gradually work your way up to those soft semi-solid foods the others are suggesting. I hope I helped and hope that your toddler will soon be better.

Clear fluids are the best thing to give, you want to keep her hydrated. As for the temp, the pediatrician told me not to treat a fever under 102.

I agree with Mommy to David, 101 isnt terribly high for a little tike, my wife and I are in the habit of letting fevers run their course unless they are really bad. Remember, a fever is a body's way of trying to burn off the illness.

Breastmilk.
Skip the tylenol, 101 isn't that high.
If her temp gets higher, give her a lukewarm bath.

I would give her Ibuprophen...Motrin or Advil. This always worked better for my children than Tylenol and faster. I gave it at the first sine of fever...98.7 under the arm, 99.7 oral. Also give lots of love and offer rest so she can get better soon.
