I had a rot canal 4 days back.It didn't hurt 2 days but now I feel some pain in it especially when I grind it with the upper tooth.Is this normal?what can i do about it?

I would contact who did your root canal (Either your DDS or the Endodontist) and let them know. Sometimes you just need a bite adjustment, or maybe there could be an accessory root that was missed. Since it was just done 4 days ago you need to give the infection time to clear up and heal. It took awhile to form, and will take some time to heal up.

BUT if it is keeping you up at night, don't hesitate and call the Doctor you saw to check it out. Better safe than sorry! :)

It is normal based on my experience.I would call your dentist to get his recommendation. Usually after a root canal, you go back to your dentist for a check or additional work. The obvious answer is for you not to grind your teeth until you have this checked out.

ok I had one a few years back and had no pain at all...first off don't grind it's very sensitive try not to touch that area and if the pain continues go back to the dentist...my experience was that they had to pull the tooth any how later that year...Good Luck!

Go and get it pulled because in the long run thats what
you are going to wind up doing anyway!!
