I have heard rumours that mouthwash can cause (mouth)cancer. Is this true?

Thanks,

No it does not. Something that can happen is called tissue sloughing. That is when the mouthwash has irritated your mouth and the skin roughens up and starts to become irritated.

When I rinse with pure listerine, that happens with my mouth, so I need to water it down.

I doubt it, pondering many are made with alcohol. Mouthwash actual helps you, not kill you. as nicely, we've maximum cancers cells in our very own physique, it in simple terms relies upon regardless of if the partitions of the main cancers cells could nicely be broken down or not somewhat. some issues excel it, yet in no way mouthwash. If it did, it would be on the label.

No,alchol is not mutagenic or carcinogenic UNLEES YOU GARGLE WITH LISTERINE FOR 4 HOURS A DAY NON-STOP.

Actually the antimicrobial properties of Listerine are quite healthful in moderation as germs in the mouth =can cause heart diseas years later if unchecked.
