It bothers me that they CLAIM to be Christians. It bothers me that they try to hide behind God so they can believe what they want. It bothers me that they make people THINK that they're Christians, by CLAIMING that they're Christians, so people seem to think that ALL Christians believe the way the white supremacists do.
Members of the KKK are NOT Christian, no matter what they claim. Jesus was not white, nor was He black. He was from Israel, so I'm sure he had dark hair, dark eyes, and bronze skin. God is not white either, nor is He black. God has no color, and yet is EVERY color. How DARE the KKK try to make any distinction!

No. Just like there are undersirable Jews, Muslims and so on, there are also undersirable acting Christians. How the KKK acts has nothing to do with what I as a christian believe. In the end they will have to answer for there actions.

KKK like murders, , rapists, drug addicts , rip off artists..all claim to be Christians... ( if and when it suits them.. but they don't practice as real christians do... it is a label they hide behind)
the KKK is in all facets of society.... Drs, Lawyers, car salesmen, grocery store owners, lots of crumb bums as well as upstanding citizens.....
they are on their way out though...... I wouldn't give them a second thought

some people claim to be 'christians' because they belong to a religion...but true Christians have a relationship with Christ... and have repented from garbage like the KKK would do

I would have to say that no it doesn't bother me (even though I am sure not every single member is a Christian). I mean after all, everyone interprets their chosen religion differently. And think , there are many people who are not affiliated with a group that call themselves Christians but do things that are not Christian-like.

No it does not bother me per se, other than the fact that these individuals' behavior and belief systems lend to orthodox Christianity a bad example. These persons, while believing, have no faith.
But, by faith I mean the following:
Faith commences with the conviction of the mind based on adequate evidence; faith continues in the confidence of the heart or emotions based on conviction, and faith is crowned in the consent of the will, by means of which the conviction and confidence are expressed in conduct.
Key points:
Conviction of the Mind
Confidence of the Heart
Consent of the Will
Conduct of the Body
As you can see from the above, faith affects the whole of a person's nature. Even the demons *believe* in Christ, God, etc.
Belief is not enough. Many may claim to be Christians, but we know from the scriptures that many are called, but few are chosen:
Mat 7:16 You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?
Mat 7:17 So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit.
Mat 7:18 A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit.
Mat 7:19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
Mat 7:20 Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.
Mat 7:21 "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
Mat 7:22 On that day many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?'
Mat 7:23 And then will I declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.' (ESV Translation)
Faith without works is dead, just as the fig tree cursed by Christ when it did not bear fruit (Mt. 21:19). By a Christian's fruit you will know their true nature.

Cylon, the narrowness of your thinking is wonderful. Not all KKK are Christians just as all bikers are not Hells Angels. Since all men, you and me included, are sinful by nature we will sin and do things that are abhorrent to God. The only saving grace is that God has given us a chance to repent and make ourselves right with God through our true repentance of our sinful ways and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. It appears that you do not believe but believe this, if you are right then what do I have to lose by believing. If you are wrong you lose everything ------- forever. I pray for you.

Unfortunately some religions take their beliefs to the extremes, and sometimes they work under the guise of Chritianity. It seems the bad ,makes it worse for the ones trying to good and unfortunately we as humans, remember the bad first before the good can even come to light.
