Is it possible that something as comparatively simple as a bacterium could exist fully formed with no origin at all - just existing from nowhere and nothing? No, the idea is clearly absurd. Something - some kind of process or act of creation - would have to be responsible for generating its complexity and organisation, its structure and functions and processes.

By the same reasoning, it is inconceivable that a human being could exist fully formed from nothing. Something has to be responsible for the origin of our form, our functions, our intelligence, our great complexity. It's surely no coincidence that the most complex object in the known universe - the human brain - is also the only thing that we all agree possesses true intelligence.

So, is it possible that something vastly more complex and intelligent even than a human being - an intelligent entity capable of designing and creating an entire universe - could just exist fully formed from nothing, with no origin of any kind? Clearly, the answer is no. This is how we know beyond the slightest doubt that an intelligent creator deity cannot exist. Complexity, organisation and intelligence can only be products of unthinking natural processes in an uncreated universe.

That's why I don't believe that any gods exist.

Intelligence is what prevents me from believing. And comparing the wind, a real, measurable physical force, to an imaginary being is not only a poor example on your part but makes absolutely no sense.

It has nothing to do with seeing or not seeing.

I don't need to believe in a god. I feel secure enough with my own moral judgment that I don't need to be judged by an ancient myth.

I don't need the promise of heaven to be a good person.

And I don't need the threat of hell to know that nothing good will come of my being bad.

I blame no one or no entity for my bad luck, and I can thank myself for my achievements.

Never could figure out why pro sports person thank god for winning a game. If there really was a god, don't they think this would be a waste of his time !!!

Non-believers cannot adequately reason the revelations of God in the world around them, nor in the written revelations of God, the bible. Their eyes have been closed to the truth because they are unwilling to still their minds and hear the call of the Holy Spirit to God's grace.

2Co 4:3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled only to those who are perishing.
2Co 4:4 In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

Instead, they are given over to their own devices, seeking the “truth” within themselves where no real truth can be found:

2Ti 3:2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,
2Ti 3:3 heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good,
2Ti 3:4 treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
2Ti 3:5 having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.

God's foreknowledge of the choices we will make in this life is the reason for these conditions. An omnipotent God cannot make a morally free person who is incapable of consciously choosing to sin. Thus there will be those that with full knowledge of God's revelation who will choose to reject His divine mercy. This is the unforgivable sin.

We know from the scriptures that few will be called to righteousness. The John 3:16 of the bible is not for everyone, but only for those God has called to be His elect whom were chosen before the creation of the universe.

In my case it's my analytical mind that strongly prevents me from believing in anything without a good reason.

There is not a single piece of a scrap of a hint that any sort of god might be real. But there are many indications that god is a man-made fiction, created by hallucination, wishful thinking, and manipulation.

Go figure.

You feel the wind, see it move things. You can observe it. Measure its wind speed. It exists

Just because you can't understand th process of how something came to be be it a virus or bacterium without a "creator" makes it so anymore than your failure to grasp quantum physics or calculus makes it formed by a creator. Why wwouldn't a "creator" do a better job and not "create" birth defects or incomprehensable idealogies.

I was athiest, Im now Christian.. My thing was, how can A being logicly exist. I dont see him, I dont feel him. How could he be there. What got me was when I heard about God doing supernatural things like healing people instantly. And also when i learned that ALOT of things in science agree with the bible. Like the earth round, and hanging in space. And then I receaved the Holy Ghost. And I spoke in a new language. That I didnt know. It was supernatural. I could feel God ministering to me and talking to me. It was like nothing i have ever felt before. Needless to say Im not athiest anymore.

It's not the "visual" thing. I've heard that "wind" thing a million times. Ok, I exaggerate... not a MILLION, but I'm sure that's not far off. The wind can be measured. Speed, direction, dew point, etc etc. Since when can you measure this "God" thing?
